Paint your own photo frame

Paint Your Own Photo Frames is a fun make and take event.

Girls painting their own photo frames at Lamar University

“Paint Your Own Photo Frame” is a delightful mixed media event designed to offer a personalized and creative experience. At the heart of this activity is the opportunity for guests to print out a favorite photo from their phone (also available without photo printing) and then use a variety of provided supplies to paint and decorate a frame for it.

We supply everything needed to create a beautiful and unique photo frame. This includes a wide array of paints, various decorations, glitter paint for that extra sparkle, brushes, and clean-up supplies. Throughout the event, assistance is readily available to ensure everyone can create something they are proud of.

This “make and take” project allows guests to immerse themselves in the creative process for as long as they wish. Whether they spend a few minutes or a couple of hours, the results have consistently been fantastic. Guests often surprise themselves with their artistic abilities, producing frames that are not only visually appealing but also hold sentimental value.

Our enthusiastic hosts, along with optional volunteers, play a crucial role in making the event enjoyable and stress-free. They provide encouragement, tips, and hands-on help whenever needed, ensuring that every participant feels supported and inspired. The friendly and interactive environment they create adds to the overall fun and enjoyment of the activity. It seems to be especially popular with introverted people who often don’t want to wait in lines for traditional novelties.

Additionally, we offer the service of printing out the chosen photo for guests (highly recommended). This means that at the end of the event, participants leave with a complete, framed photo that is uniquely theirs. It’s a treasured keepsake that captures both the memory of the photo and the joy of the creative process.

Overall, “Paint Your Own Photo Frame” is not just about crafting; it’s about creating lasting memories. The combination of personal photos and handcrafted frames results in a meaningful and cherished item that guests will proudly display in their homes for long after the event is over.

  • Six Tables (we’ll provide disposable table covers)
  • 2 – 110v/20amp outlets (regular electrical outlet)
  • Internet Access (if we are printing pictures)
  • 12-15 chairs
  • Space for the tables and chairs
Are you available nationwide?
Yes. Not all of our novelties can fly to an event, but Paint a Frame can!
Are you insured

Of course. And you can be added as an additional insured at no extra cost – as long as we know 2 weeks in advance. There is a small charge for rush jobs.

Can we customize?
Of course. If you have a school logo or pattern that you want to include on the photos we can do that.

We’ve even laser engraved logos onto the frames!

How many can we expect per hour and how long do you stay?
  • We book in 4 hour block minimums. Discounts are available for longer times.
  • We will have a maximum number of frames available at the event. Usually 150-200. This number will be negotiated in your quoted price.
Do you participate in block booking?

Yes. As members of NACA and APCA we fully participate in block booking. And… the schools you block book with don’t even have to choose the same novelty, just the same family of novelty. For instance, Street Signs, cuff bracelets, cell phone cases and license plates all use the same basic equipment – so you can block with any of those. Mugs and green screen photos use different equipment, so those have to block book together. Our agent will explain if you have questions.

Do you bring all of the supplies?
Yes. We bring everything except the tables and chairs used at the event.

This includes:

  • Paints in a big variety of colors
  • Glitter Paints (can be left out if desired)
  • Stickers and cut foam shapes
